About the role
A profitable 30-person SaaS serving the skilled-trades industry is hiring a full-stack engineer for a contract-to-hire role. You’ll ship product end-to-end alongside a small, senior team with very high autonomy.
What you’ll do
- Ship product features end-to-end (Node + TypeScript on the back, React on the front)
- Own a vertical slice: roadmap input, design partnership, build, ship, measure
- Pair with the principal engineer on harder architectural calls
- Help interview the next 3–5 engineers the team hires
What you bring
- 4+ years building production web apps with Node and React
- Strong PostgreSQL fundamentals and pragmatic AWS experience
- A bias for shipping; you’d rather ship a v1 than perfect a v3
- Comfort owning a feature from “we should build this” through to “it’s live and X% of users use it”
