About the role
A growing Canadian healthcare network is standing up a proper analytics warehouse for the first time. The data is sensitive, the stakes are real, and the team is senior and small (you’ll be the fourth engineer).
What you’ll do
- Model clinical and operational data in Snowflake with dbt
- Build and maintain ingestion via Fivetran and bespoke Python connectors
- Orchestrate transformations and audits in Airflow
- Partner with analysts to define and govern key metrics
- Champion data quality, lineage, and PHI handling standards
What you bring
- 4+ years of production data engineering (SQL + Python)
- Strong dbt and Snowflake skills; comfortable with column-level lineage
- Experience handling sensitive data (PHI, PII) in a regulated context
- Calm, collaborative communicator; can write a clear RFC
